The Role

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 CAD | Remote | Full-Time | Canada

We’re looking for a Creative Director to work with a dynamic video editing team creating videos for keynote speakers and authors.

At Outspeak, we help speakers spread powerful ideas for positive change. We do that by creating world-class Speaker Demo Reels that help our clients get more bookings, increase their speaking fees, and reach larger audiences

Our creative team is made up of experienced editors and creative managers who specialize in cinematic storytelling for speakers and thought leaders. The Creative Director works closely with this team to shape the vision and maintain the high creative standard of every Outspeak video project.

We value making things easy for both our clients and our team, being a person of your word, and most importantly being a curious expert in everything that we do.

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Have excellent client communication skills

  • Have excellent management and operational abilities

  • Have a strong cinematic eye for music, pacing, aesthetics, and graphics

  • Have a minimum of 3+ years experience working as a Creative Director

  • Have a minimum of 8+ years experience in the video industry

  • Willing to travel 2-5 times per year for conferences or video shoots

  • Legally allowed to work in Canada

  • Reliable high-speed internet (500 Mbps+)

  • Quiet workspace with a clean, professional background

  • Must be passionate about personal growth and delivering exceptional client experiences

Responsibilities

Creative Direction

  • Lead storytelling and creative vision across all video projects

  • Provide detailed feedback on video edits, pacing, music, and narrative structure

Team Leadership

  • Mentor editors and creative managers

  • Maintain creative standards across all projects

Client Collaboration

  • Guide clients through the creative process

  • Meet regularly with clients to align on vision and troubleshoot
